As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a retail or mall location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling designated areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to visitors and employees. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail or mall environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific guidelines.
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and local authorities as necessary regarding incidents or emergencies.
Support retail staff and visitors by providing directions and responding to inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with company and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:
A valid Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
