Human Resources (HR) Director

Description We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Director to join our team on a 1-month contract in West Hollywood, California. This position will play a pivotal role in overseeing HR operations, including payroll and benefits administration, employee relations, and recruitment activities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in HR leadership and the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

Oversee payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate administration through Insperity.

Manage 401(k) administration and troubleshoot any related issues.

Handle commission calculations and ensure biweekly payroll is processed without errors.

Provide expert guidance on HR policies, employee relations, and compliance matters.

Lead recruitment efforts by reviewing resumes, conducting initial screenings, and managing candidate pipelines.

Collaborate with leadership to address staffing needs and align HR strategies with organizational goals.

Ensure all benefits programs are effectively managed and communicated to employees.

Support onboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.

Address employee concerns and foster a positive workplace environment.

Adapt quickly to short-term priorities and deliver high-quality results within the contract period. Requirements - Extensive experience as an HR Director or Senior HR Manager, preferably in healthcare or medical settings.

Proficiency in payroll systems, with specific experience using Insperity.

Strong understanding of 401(k) administration and commission structures.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage employee relations effectively.

Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-pressure, short-term role.

Familiarity with HRIS systems and benefit functions.

Demonstrated expertise in onboarding and HR administration.
