Job Title: Warehouse Worker - $22.47/hr

Shifts:

-1st Shift: 5am-3:30pm Friday-Monday

-1st Shift: 6am-2:30pm Tuesday-Saturday

-3rd Shift: 6:30pm-5am Friday-Monday.

Job Description

The warehouse worker will primarily operate within the cooler area, focusing on picking, pulling, and building orders, as well as palletizing products. The role also includes loading, unloading, and staging materials for outgoing deliveries.

Responsibilities

Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.

Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.

Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in various areas.

Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.

Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.

Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.

Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.

Essential Skills

Experience in order selection, packaging, and shrink wrapping.

Proficiency in operating forklifts, including stand-up forklifts.

Skills in material handling, pick, pallet jack, and order picking.

At least 1 year of warehouse experience.

1 plus year of stand-up forklift experience.

GED or High School Diploma.

Comfortable working in a cooler environment.

Proficient in using computers and scanners.

Work Environment

The work environment is safe and well-maintained, with safeguards around all equipment. Although the floor can be wet due to machine rinsing, it is drained and dried efficiently. You will work in both dry and cold storage areas, with temperatures as low as 34 degrees.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.47 - $22.47/hr.
