Salary Range $20.00 - $22.00 Hourly Description American Furniture Rental (AFR) is looking a for a Warehouse Specialist in our location in Lakewood, WA 98499.Must have warehouse experience. Must be able to move Furniture inside warehouse, deliver and pick up in a safe manner. Salary DOE $20-22 per hour. BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for performing all duties related to incoming and outgoing merchandise. RESPONSIBILITIES: Unload/Load trucks using a scan gun Compare driver's paperwork to NAV Check NAV to ensure all has been collected - if not search offload Post all collections and deliveries Confirm all paperwork and pickups via Logistics Dashboard Touch Up and reclass merchandise in warehouse Lift carry and place product into and take out of racks Inspect merchandise for damages or breakage prior to shipment or warehouse storage. Record all merchandise discrepancies on appropriate paperwork. Complete inventory preparation for warehouse stock. Stage merchandise to prepare for shipment as needed. Fill customer order in accordance with Pick Tickets, complete appropriate paperwork, and place acopy with the merchandise for shipment. Scan all orders and print pre-shipment paperwork as appropriate Operate forklift, palette jack and hand trucks. Always maintain a neat and orderly workplace All warehouse personnel are required to sweep up and remove / dispose of debris. Follow safety procedures in accordance with training, and report any dangerous conditions to management immediately. Perform other related duties as assigned SKILLS: Oral Communication Skills Written Communication Skills Math Aptitude Organization Planning Reading Skills Time Management Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Qualifications EDUCATION/TRAINING: Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent EXPERIENCE: Prior warehouse experience helpful.
