Position Summary:

Warehouse Pick Pack Specialist is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and shipping orders to customers or other locations. This role requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work effectively within a team to meet deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Utilize picking systems to locate items within the warehouse.

Safely and efficiently retrieve items from designated storage areas.

Verify accuracy of picked items against order requirements.

Maintain high standards of accuracy and productivity while picking orders.

Prepare items for shipment by selecting appropriate packaging materials.

Ensure items are securely packed to prevent damage during transit.

Label packages with correct shipping information and apply necessary documentation.

Follow specific packing instructions provided for fragile or hazardous items.

Inspect items for any defects or damages before packing.

Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors for resolution.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of packing areas to uphold quality standards.

Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Follow company policies and procedures regarding handling of hazardous materials.

Comply with regulatory requirements related to shipping and handling of goods.

Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to achieve common goals.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding workflow and any issues that arise.

Support colleagues during peak periods or when additional assistance is required.

Other duties as assigned.

Management Responsibilities:

This position manages the following positions: None

Physical Attributes:

Stand or walk for extended periods.

Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

Bend, squat, and reach to retrieve product.

Utilize dexterity abilities to handle inventory, operate machinery, @type on a computer, and perform tasks such as packing, unpacking, and sorting items.

Spend significant time reading both on paper and on a computer.

Work Environment:

General warehouse environment.

Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

Minimum Qualifications:

18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications:

HS Diploma or GED

Experience with SAP Materials Management module

Good communication and organizational skills

Attention to detail

Basic MS Windows navigation experience.

Experience in a warehouse/distribution environment

Pay Details: $18.50 per hour
