This business development role supports all SI B distribution channels with AEC stakeholder coverage and strategic relationships for the advancement of Siemens portfolio adoption and acceptance, and implementation of business strategies, frameworks, and processes- focusing on options to exploit best market opportunities. Provides recommendations on win strategies for specific project pursuits and mentorship to all channel partners to self-perform on AEC engagement.
As an AEC Business Development Manager, you will:
Grow and develop assigned AEC national accounts to expand our visibility, executive level relationships, spec influence and basis of design - driving product and software growth on strategic capital projects.
Support and train sales and business development personnel from all channels in the delivery of continuing education and portfolio-oriented presentations with the intent of helping them independently execute on the expansion of Siemens local market penetration.
Collaborate with Portfolio Sales Enablement team on the creation of new portfolio and continuing education programs, including presenting new material at national and regional events.
Share market intelligence from AEC community with sales leadership and management to inform and influence organizational growth strategies
Promote the industry adoption of smart building technologies and assist our channel partners with their digitalization growth strategies to improve how they sell and execute projects
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of industry experience
Associate or Bachelors Degree
Required amount of travel with the position - 35% (approx. 2-3 days/week, 2-3 weeks/month)
Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years in sales, engineering, project management, or sales management roles
Experience in selling, installing or designing automation systems

The pay range for this position is $89,670 - $153,720 annually with a target incentive of 25% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
