The Trumbull Marriott Shelton is seeking a Banquet Supervisor. This position will oversee event setup, staffing, service, and breakdown, ensuring high-quality execution and guest satisfaction. Key responsibilities include directing staff, coordinating with the kitchen and sales, maintaining a safe and sanitary environment, and acting as the main point of contact for clients during the event. This role requires strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills to manage timelines, resources, and staff performance.

Ability to lead, motivate, and work effectively with staff and other departments.

Communication:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients, staff, and management.

Problem-Solving:

Capacity to identify issues, anticipate challenges, and implement solutions promptly and effectively.

Organization & Multitasking:

Skills to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and resources during events.

Knowledge of Hospitality Standards:

Understanding of event planning, food and beverage service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
