We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Finance Manager to support our 1st party global Digital Direct Sales (DDS) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving financial growth through channel and investment optimization, partnering closely with Worldwide Consumer Finance, digital direct sales, marketing, and engineering enablement teams. As a leader on this team, you will play a key role as part of the DDS Leadership Team (LT), driving channel growth strategy, and supporting marketing planning, performance, and integrated marketing initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of financial analysis, planning, and forecasting, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.
The Digital Direct Sales (DDS) team engages with consumers globally throughout their shopping journeys, navigating across Microsoft's digital storefronts as the consumer and Very Small Businesses (VSBs) most trusted online destination for the full range of Microsoft products and solutions, within Gaming, Windows, M365 and Surface.

Key Responsibilities
Drive the DDS Finance Rhythm of Business (ROB), ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timely execution of financial processes.
Play a key role as part of the DDS Leadership Team (LT), supporting marketing planning, performance, and integrated marketing initiatives.
Develop financial models to evaluate ROI and Lifetime Value (LTV) when assessing the feasibility of different strategic opportunities for channel expansion.
Partner with business leads to implement a channel growth strategy to optimize investments and drive profitable revenue growth.
Prioritize investments, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize return on investment, including paid, earned, and Owned & Operated (O&O).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and business operations, to support strategic initiatives and drive business performance.
Ensure compliance with Microsoft policies on risk and compliance, driving a culture of adherence and accountability

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in FP&A, business operations, or finance program management OR equivalent experience
5+ years experience of financial planning cycles and business review processes OR equivalent experience?
Additional or preferred qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Operations, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
Ability to manage complex timelines and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Anaplan, Power BI).
Corporate level communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skill
Financial Analysis IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
