Job Title: Painter

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing incoming jobs, overseeing the prep process, maintaining chemical concentrations, and ensuring that parts meet specifications. You will also play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our shop.

Responsibilities

Review incoming jobs to determine workload and stage the work accordingly.

Oversee the prep process to ensure parts are being masked correctly according to the drawing.

Maintain proper chemical concentration in the wash system.

Maintain correct settings on powder coat booth to ensure adherence to our process.

Verify conformance of finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and are issued to the correct job.

Perform routine quality checks on each team member.

Perform daily maintenance duties and/or notify supervisor of any equipment-related issues that may require attention.

Maintain a clean and orderly shop.

Maintain schedule for jobs and preventative maintenance.

Track output to ensure efficiency of production.

Maintain a daily routine operator checklist.

Meet weekly with the supervisor to provide updates and feedback on the shop.

Comply with all company policies, rules, guidelines, and behavior expectations.

Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
