Job Summary

Responsible for coordinating and supervising the day-to-day activities of the Accounting Operations department. Oversees development and preparation of reporting and operational metrics. Provides direct supervision to Accounting staff. Customarily and regularly directs the work of at least two or more full-time employees or their equivalent.

Core Responsibilities

Tracks and analyzes key financial metrics and operational procedures to foster process improvements.

Leads the development and effective utilization of financial models and analysis.

Prepares financial reports and coordinates month-end processes.

Ensures staff meet operational goals and metrics.

Collaborates with leadership to drive process automation and development in our systems to create efficiencies.

Hires, supervises, trains and develops Finance & Accounting staff.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
