Summary

Assists in the performance of various duties in support of the legal and compliance requirements of Credit Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Works with staff members and external vendors, when appropriate, to support processes and timelines for to maintain act letters, repo packets, and loan work outs.

Reviews and responds to internal and external correspondence,

Works with the Collections Administrative Specialist and/or management to ensure timely follow up to e-Oscar and Direct dispute processing, as well as appropriate legal follow up.

Prepares, processes, and notates system expense invoices.

Assists with managing reports, pipelines and workflows to support collection and retention analyst including but not limited to foreclosures, bankruptcies, offsets, charge off, and liquidation follow up

Reviews accuracy of information and uploads documents as needed to document management system for a variety of processes

Assists in handling of incoming calls

Is responsible for adhering to operational controls, including compliance with all required regulations and policies such as the CFPB, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) to ensure the safety and soundness of the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union and its members.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

High school diploma plus a minimum of 3 years related experience required.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and sit. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move items over 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
