Summary

This position is responsible for coordinating and assisting with logistics and operations of the Care-A-Van. This position also involves the recruitment and coordination of the community volunteer program. Volunteers include clinicians, interpreters, registrars, screeners and the BSMH Volunteer Ministry for both the Care A Van clinic sites and Administrative Office. The position provides administrative support to clinics including answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, and scanning.

Essential Functions

Schedules appointments, gives information to callers, and takes dictation.

Composes memos, transcribes notes, and researches and creates presentations.

Generates reports, handles multiple projects, and prepares and monitors invoices and expense reports.

Assist with Marketing Team to promote Service Line/Health Fairs/Events.

Collects, compiles, and analyzes moderately complex data and information.

Composes straightforward written descriptions of results.

Supports multiple levels of leadership including physician, Mid-level APPs, directors, managers, supervisors, etc.

Qualifications

SPANISH/ENGLISH BILINGUAL STRONGLY PREFERRED

High School Diploma required

2 year/Associates Degree preferred

2-4 years of experience in providing administrative/clerical assistance preferred.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in healthcare.
