Position may be filled at either of the below locations: Little Rock AFB, AR - 73,939 to 96,116 Tracy, CA - $92,433 to 120,157 Jacksonville, FL - 73,939 to 96,116 Albany, GA - 73,939 to 96,116 Responsibilities Serves in the Program Support Office (PSO) with DLA Distribution. Provides specialized logistics support to multiple Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, interagency and intra-agency strategic programs. Serve as Communication Security (COMSEC) Account Manager Electronic Key Manager. Advises upper management and Office of Secretary of Defense program managers on changes and new developments in the security accountability, physical security, standard operating procedures and policies regarding COMSEC security and materials. Performs fiscal accounting of multi-million-dollar budget. Responsible for analytical studies of services, researches and interprets United States and Department of Defense acquisition/material procurement regulations and services, policies and guidelines Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-11 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Applies knowledge of supply and logistical operations to include distribution of material, storage management, inventory accountability, systems support, and direct field support. In-depth knowledge of principles, concepts, and methodology related to the receipt, inventory, transfer, accounting, destruction, preparation of reports, and the safeguarding of security of COMSEC and controlled cryptographic material. Knowledge of specialized analytical methods, inventory management methods, techniques and specialized needs of COMSEC B. Education Substitution: Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Education Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
