Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking our Environmental Services-Custodial Operations Manager 2 for our client partners at University of St Joseph in West Hartford, CT. Valid Driver's License with clear background is required. Our successful candidate will walk around the entire campus, help hands on with general custodial work, and inspect work daily to meet Annual Audit expectations, have experience managing sanitation for up to 15 buildings and demonstrated history of excellent team building experience. COVID Response, KRONOS and Maximo experience are preferred.

What You'll Do

Valid Driver's License is required to drive company vehicles

Drive positive client and student satisfaction scores

Assign, schedule and inspect all sanitation processes

Manage equipment, supplies and strategy including Floor Machines

provide a clean and safe environment for faculty, students and staff

Manage the 1st and 2nd shift with a great team who work well together

What You Bring

Valid Driver's License is required

Ability to walk, lift and routinely manage hands-on Custodial Services daily activities

Experience managing a 2nd shift

Experience managing Floor Care Machines

Experience managing a strong and cohesive team, that work well together

2 years with the title of Manager in an Environmental Services environment

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services
