District Office Secretary

This position will require secretarial duties/activities and promote the well-being of the school district through electronic media. This person will report to the Superintendent & Treasurer.Technology competencies and knowledge of the state software applications or ability to learn (e.g. DASL, Progressbook, etc.)Must have demonstrated experience in analysis and presentation of data using various software applications including databases, spreadsheets (e.g. Microsoft Office tools, Google Applications etc.)Must have strong analytical abilityMust have the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesDisplays strong communication and organization skillsMust have skills in collaborating with colleagues in a positive, courteous, congenial, and personal manner to ensure highest quality team effectivenessMust maintain the highest level of confidentialityKnowledge of the district and community is preferredMust have an acceptable background check and complete all required employee recordsWill be required to manage community center memberships and community room reservations.Will be required to maintain bus and van driver certifications and re-certifications.Must efficiently track staff development vouchers for continuing education units, background checks for staff, and teacher certification renewals.Will be responsible for maintaining and updating staff personnel files.Will manage student open enrollment applications.Provide training and technical support to district personnel Assist administration with the posting of employment opportunities.Assist staff with the creation of custom reports, spreadsheets, and data filesTo collaborate with the local media in writing captions and sending a digital picture(s) promoting the district students and schoolTo work with the district website to make sure up-to-date information is posted and is correctPerforms other specific job-related duties as assigned IF INTERESTED IN POSITION, CONTACT IN WRITING: Jeff Snyder Lincolnview Local Schools 15945 Middle Point Road Van Wert, Ohio 45891 Phone: (419) 968-2226 Fax: (419) 968-2227jsnyder@lvlancers.com
