GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES:
As the Producer, Email, you will create produce and deploy email campaigns to build the museum's brand, generate revenue and increase retention & acquisition. As a crucial part of the Marketing department, you will deliver email campaigns for stakeholders across the museum including Membership, Education, Development, Marketing and Retail. You will be responsible for all aspects of the Museum's email lifecycle including content creation, HTML coding, scripting, list management, deployment and analysis.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILIES & DUTIES:
Produce email campaigns from internal stakeholders (PSD, request forms, templates)
Code emails into HTML using image slicing and hand-coding techniques
Writing and editorializing email content and newsletters
Quality assurance of all emails (copyedit, brand, functionality, legal, platform rendering)
Manage subscription lists, create segments for targeting and suppressions
Create AB/multivariate tests to improve email response rates
Creation of better email workflows, data connections, and microsites
Report on email results for the marketing team and other stakeholders
Analyze results and create actionable recommendations Upkeep of email calendar and campaigns from strategy to launch
Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of each email, including edits, obtaining approvals, and communicating effectively throughout
Knowledge of email best practices to campaigns and stakeholders
Helping with marketing and communication related events
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Design, or related field
2-3 years experience in email marketing
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Experience in email HTML, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver
Experience with producing and deploying emails through an email service provider
Experience working with subscription lists, targeting rules, and dynamic scripts
Experience with work in a fast-paced environment and self-manage workloads
Experience with identifying challenges and communicate issues with diverse stakeholders.
Experience working effectively across departments and in cross-disciplinary teams
Presentation skills, ability to lead meetings
Preferred: Copyediting or copywriting experience
Preferred: SQL, JavaScript, or API
Preferred: Advanced Excel experience, pivot tables, formulas
Knowledge of both Apple and Microsoft desktop operating environments
Knowledge of email marketing, HTML, lifecycle automation, and email platforms
Knowledge of email best practices, CAN-SPAM, CASL, and EU GDPR
Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, AirTable, or similar project management software
COMPENSATION RANGE:
Pay Range: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 / Annually

Location Requirements
At time of employment, employees are expected to be located within commuting distance of the Museum. "Commuting distance" means that they are located in one of following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, or Pennsylvania (the "Tri-state and PA" areas), and be able to commute to and from the Museum in a single day.
