First Article Inspection

Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing

Location: 3617 E La Salle St, Phoenix, AZ 85040 (40th St and Southern)

Shift: Full time, day shift

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.

First Article Inspector:

Responsibilities:

Blue Print reading skills GD&T ASME Y14.5
Perform mechanical inspection of machined Aerospace parts using hand tools, Micrometer, Caliper, Surface Plate Layout tools, Dial Bore, etc.
Manual CMM experience
DCC CMM experience with PC-DMIS
Basic computer knowledge

Basic Qualifications:

3 years minimum experience in aerospace inspection manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of ASME Y14.5 and GDT required
Experience with micrometers, optical comparator, height gages, profilometer
CMM experience (PCDMIS, QC5000, Brown and Sharp Reflex)

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
Ability to sit or stand up to 8 hours per day
