Description

The primary function of the Night Warehouse Clerk s to maintain various administrative responsibilities within the warehouse distribution facility during night hours and to build routes on the truck builder program.

An individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Enters and reviews account orders.

Tracks all items and quantities of orders against what was selected.

Runs all required data reports in a timely manner.

Accomplishes miscellaneous data entry.

Supervises and reports inventory issue information.

Building routes on the truck builder program

Making sure that the routes are built according to the trucks they are assigned to.

Assigning the trucks to the correct bay doors

Ensures that any vendor returns are designated with the proper space on the trucks.

Properly exports the routes to the voice picking system.

Deploys work once the routes are in the voice picking system.

Makes sure the routes are properly mapped out for loading.

Double checks that all routes are built and sent over to the voice picking system.

Makes the list of the order in which routes have been built.

Ensures that any additional orders or pallets are communicated to the loading and yard crew.

Issues any special instructions that are necessary for a particular route.

Reports any issues to management that interfere with a proper and safe work environment.

Attends all required company meetings.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Training

Must have great communication skills and interact with internal and external accounts and personnel.

Must be able to work quickly and accurately under stress/pressure.

Must have flexibility to meet changing work priorities.

Must be detail oriented and organized.

Must have basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements

Normal visual acuity.

Good hearing and oral communication skills.

Manual dexterity and ability to use a keyboard and mouse comfortably.

Able to sit and stand for extended periods.

Comfortable working in varying warehouse climates, including refrigerated and outdoor environments.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Must be able to work the assigned schedule during night hours.

Must be able to use, or learn to use, all equipment and programs used to perform the job.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must successfully pass a controlled substance screening test.

Must adhere to all safety practices and company policies

Meet or exceed performance goals.

Able to work rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift, in a fast-paced environment.

Develop a working knowledge of products.
