Job Title: Accounts Receivable Representative Job Type: Full-Time Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Representative to join our high-volume AR and finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming payments, tracking accounts, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring that customer accounts are accurate and up-to-date. Your primary focus will be to ensure the company receives timely payments, helping maintain a healthy cash flow.This involves calling on approximately 50 customers a day. Key Responsibilities: Process customer payments and apply them to the correct accounts. Manage and maintain the accounts receivable ledger and ensure accurate record-keeping. Perform regular follow-up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment (calling approximately 50 customers a day). Review and resolve customer discrepancies, working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure prompt resolution. Generate and send customer statements and invoices. Maintain communication with customers regarding payment status, aging balances, and outstanding debts. Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures by preparing necessary reports. Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve any discrepancies. Prepare reports detailing aging accounts, outstanding balances, and any other relevant financial data. Work with the collections department to manage delinquent accounts and negotiate payment plans. Provide support for audits or other financial reviews as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred). 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related field. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Experience in a high-volume Accounts Receivable role is a must. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Microsoft D365, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle). Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
