As a part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, we engage a diverse audience of theater enthusiasts, food connoisseurs, and entertainment seekers.What will you be doing? Provide warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service to all guests. Take accurate drink and food orders, and ensure timely delivery. Offer thoughtful recommendations and upsell specialty cocktails and menu items. Maintain cleanliness of assigned tables, bar areas, and service stations. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company liquor regulations. Handle payments, process transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures. Work collaboratively with bartenders, bar backs, and fellow servers to ensure seamless service. Assist with additional duties as requested by management.What we are looking for: Prior serving or cocktail service experience preferred. Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits with the ability to describe and recommend options to guests. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining grace and professionalism. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to create memorable guest connections. Must be able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
