With a prime location in Milwaukee\'s Theater District, Saint Kate serves as a creative hub for the city, where every aspect of the hotel is inspired by music, painting, sculpture, and design. As a part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, we engage a diverse audience of theater enthusiasts, food connoisseurs, and entertainment seekers.What will you be doing? Create craft cocktails, pour beverages, and serve guests with accuracy and flair. Provide welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable service to all guests. Engage with guests by sharing recommendations, stories behind cocktails, and menu insights. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area. Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and company liquor regulations. Handle cash and process transactions accurately. Collaborate with cocktail servers and bar backs to deliver seamless service. Assist with inventory, stocking, and bar setup/breakdown. Support other duties as requested by management.What we are looking for: Prior bartending experience preferred, especially in a high-volume or craft cocktail environment. Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits with the ability to create and explain cocktails. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to create memorable guest experiences. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Ability to carry and lift up to 25 lbs.
