ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
Supervises and assists in the loading of trucks and the pulling of material for the VMI line crews.
Monitors and assists in the checking of materials to be shipped or pulled as to quantities, item correctness, etc.
Oversees and assists in the checking of material to be received or transferred against purchase order or transformer list for accuracy of catalog numbers and quantities.
Oversees and assists in the handling of transformers received and shipped ensuring transformers are pulled, adjusted and are ready for shipment.
Supervises the inspection of new inventory and returned items for any form of damage.
Participates in maintaining the warehouse, offices, and surrounding yard keeping all in a clean and orderly fashion.
Assures proper maintenance and training for all forklifts, trucks, and equipment and the scheduling of regular maintenance. Inspecting all equipment regularly to check for visible signs of anything that is need of repair.
Assures a clean and safe warehouse is Maintained.
Manages multiple VMI Account departments and operates as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to the VMI Account. Maintains strong Customer relationships with all departments (accounting, engineering, operations, etc.).
Participates in the development of processes and procedures to maintain inventory accuracy and integrity.
Oversees the investigation of discrepancies related to inventory counts and works with various personnel to maintain accurate levels of inventory.
Oversees and assists in ensuring all VMI Inventory material is stocked at proper levels to ensure material is available for the VMI customer(s).
Works with various personnel to resolve issues that may occur in shipping and/or receiving materials not reported by customer(s).
Investigates and resolves issues that occur in customer billing or shipping discrepancies.
Maintains customer information as it pertains to quoting and invoicing.
Coordinates with various personnel to set up and incorporate barcoding, scanners and new software applications that require change in warehouses.
Schedules and conducts inventories, coordinating with various personnel to obtain accurate counts ensuring processes are followed with integrity.
Provides accurate audit information to Accounting, Internal and External Audit for all transactions that occur in Warehouses.
Coordinates with the IT department and various personnel for new program requests, processes, and implementation.
Coordinates with IT and Records Compliance to ensure only records are being captured in the electronic software; coordinates with various personnel to set up electronic folders.
Coordinates with Managers and Customers to set up new business in materials management.
Develops warehouse design by planning layout and product flow.
Conducts individual Training with new Employees, both on site, e-mail, and phone communication.
Conducts individual and group training for all Warehouse Associates and Warehouse Supervisors when new programs and/or processes are implemented.
Directs, supports, and mentors Warehouse Employees daily in all locations.
Acts as Inside Sales for non-stock needs upon request of VMI Operations and/or Engineering Groups for quoting, turning over all quotes to Sales to input the order.
Travels to multiple locations to maintain relationships with VMI Customers and warehouse personnel.
Able to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions for this role.
Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with AECI's policies, management guidelines & applicable laws. Responsibilities will include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, directing work, performance reviews, issuing disciplinary write ups, addressing complaints & resolving problems.
Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school or GED, plus at least 5 years of material and warehousing experience or equivalent education and experience. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.

Valid Driver's License

Associate Degree in Business or related field.

Semi-repetitive, low physical. Semi-repetitive @type work which requires periods of concentration for varied time cycles as prescribed by the tasks.
While performing the functions of this job, the employee is continuously required to talk or hear; frequently required to stand, sit; and occasionally required to walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; and distance vision.
