As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at the assigned location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally while responding to various situations and assisting visitors or employees as needed. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
What We're Looking For:
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
A valid driver's license in the job state is required for driving positions only.
