As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Site Patrol in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a vital role in fostering a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols of the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations as they arise. You will interact with individuals throughout the facility, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Through teamwork and a people-first approach, you will contribute to building a welcoming and trustworthy atmosphere, always acting with integrity as you support the overall security-related operations of the site.

Tue06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Wed06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Thur06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Fri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the business interior and perimeter areas.

Observe for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns or incidents according to company protocols.

Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and directing visitors as needed.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.

Document observations and incidents as required by site and company policies.

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
