Emmy Squared Shaw is hiring experienced Prep Cooks to join our growing team. As part of the Pizza Loves Emily Restaurant Group, Emmy Squared is a growing upscale casual full-service restaurant brand known for our Detroit-style pizza, award-winning burgers, and commitment to quality, creativity, and hospitality. Your Role as a Prep Cook:

As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in the success of our kitchen by ensuring ingredients and dishes are prepared to the highest standards. You will:

Prepare specific food items and recipes with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.

Maintain kitchen sanitation in accordance with health department guidelines.

Set up and maintain assigned kitchen workstations.

Properly handle, store, and date food items to ensure freshness and safety.

Use facility supplies and equipment responsibly to minimize loss and waste.

Report necessary equipment repair and maintenance to management.

Keep work areas clean, organized, and sanitized at all times.

Perform other back-of-house duties as assigned by management.

What You Bring to the Table:

At least 1 year of experience as a prep or line cook in a full-service restaurant.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing responsibilities.

Calm and welcoming demeanor, even under pressure.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical capability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs., push/pull up to 75 lbs., and stand for extended periods, with frequent bending and reaching overhead.

Familiarity with culinary tools (knives, commercial equipment, etc.) and the ability to taste/smell for quality assurance.

A passion for food-pizza knowledge is a plus!
