Description We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and management accounting. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in accounting and financial systems to contribute their expertise.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings, financial footnotes, and Board presentations.

Compile and analyze data for management reports and other essential financial documents.

Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in journal entries.

Utilize Workiva and Essbase to support financial reporting processes.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Contribute to the preparation of commercial mortgage-related financial documents.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting operations and reporting. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.

Proficiency in preparing journal entries and performing bank reconciliations.

Familiarity with financial tools such as Workiva and Essbase.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory compliance.

Prior experience in financial reporting and creating management reports.

Background in commercial mortgage accounting is preferred.

Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
