Collins is currently seeking a summer intern to join our Accounting & Controllership team for the Kidde business in Wilson, NC. Kidde Fire Protection Systems is a global organization providing fully integrated fire protection systems for aircraft and ground vehicles in both the commercial and government markets.
This position is for an entry-level internship as a financial analyst to work with a finance team on finance and accounting related activities. There will be special ad-hoc projects as required to support growth and development during the internship.
What You Will Do:
Research opportunities to improve current processes and support continuous improvement activities.
Assist in the preparation, tracking, and analysis of financial data related to finance activities, budgets, and transactions.
Evaluate existing tools and systems utilized by the finance team to identify potential areas for enhancement and optimization.
Execute a range of accounting tasks in accordance with established accounting principles and standards.

How to work in a professional finance environment and contribute to team projects

Qualifications You Must Have:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
