The mission of the State Plumbing Board of Louisiana is to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Louisiana by licensing qualified plumbing professionals, enforcing state plumbing laws and regulations, and promoting the highest standards of competency and professionalism within the plumbing trade.
The Admin Program Manager 2 will oversee and coordinate critical administrative programs that support the mission of the State Plumbing Board of Louisiana. This includes managing licensing processes, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations, and providing guidance on operational policies and procedures. The role also involves serving as a key liaison between leadership, staff, licensees, and the public to ensure efficient and effective program delivery.

Minimum Qualifications
Five years of experience in administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus two years of experience in administrative services; OR
A bachelor's degree plus two years of experience in administrative services; OR
An advanced degree plus one year of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Serves as the central administrative manager for the Enforcement Division across two operational facilities (Baton Rouge & Shreveport).
Supervises five (5) Administrative Coordinators; ensures consistent adherence to agency policy and Civil Service rules.
Coordinates directly with legal counsel, the Attorney General's Office, and municipal entities to support enforcement actions including injunctions, license suspensions, and adjudications.
Supervises twelve (12) part-time Enforcement Officers who conduct licensure inspections, complaint investigations, and site visits statewide
Tracks officer mileage, citations, reports, and equipment need (e.g., badges, business cards, uniforms).
Prepares board meeting agendas, reports, and documentation related to enforcement and legal matters.
