Summary This position is located at MWR Financial Management - NAF Support Services. Responsibilities Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of accounting documents submitted by assigned activities. Maintains assigned subsidiary ledgers for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, customer deposits, unearned income, annual leave payable, equipment, prepaid items and central storeroom accounts. Determines that all transactions are properly processed and that total activity agrees with predetermined control tables. Analyses and reviews reports and machine listing to assure they are in balance and in proper format and sort sequence, that accounting data is valid and that it adheres to prescribed regulatory manuals and procedures. Classifies erroneous conditions referring complex errors/problems to the accountant. Takes corrective action to bring reports and listings into balance. Verifies corrected copy and recommends changes in procedures to prevent a recurrence of the problem. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Work experience performing accounting support duties as described above. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
