Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to manage and analyze financial data for our organization in Olyphant, Pennsylvania. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting critical accounting functions to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records to accurately reflect the organization's assets, liabilities, and overall financial status.

Conduct weekly check runs and prepare cash flow forecasts to support effective financial planning.

Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company travel policies.

Monitor deposits and reconcile capital project accounts on a monthly basis.

Support month-end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations.

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts to guide strategic decision-making.

Compile periodic financial reports and perform statistical analyses to highlight key results and trends.

Coordinate with external auditors by providing necessary documentation and account information for the annual audit.

Manage fixed assets, including tracking additions, disposals, and calculating depreciation.

Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support the accounting team. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.

At least five years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

Solid understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.

Experience with journal entries and general ledger maintenance.

Familiarity with month-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliations.

Ability to contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities.
