Description Robert Half Finance & Accounting Contract Talent is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a temporary position with the potential to convert to full-time. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with Coupa and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to established processes in a professional environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable activities using the Coupa AP system

Accurately process invoices and ensure timely payments

Maintain vendor records and resolve discrepancies

Assist with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable

Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and maintain compliance

Qualifications:

Previous experience with Coupa preferred

Strong accounts payable background

Ability to adapt quickly and work in a professional office environment

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Education:

Accounting or Finance coursework or equivalent experience preferred

Additional Info:

Schedule: Full-time, onsite

Duration: Temporary with potential for conversion to permanent employment

Familiarity with Coupa or similar accounts payable systems is preferred.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in financial operations.

Ability to adapt to established processes and work effectively in a detail-oriented office environment.

Strong problem-solving skills to resolve payment discrepancies and vendor issues.

Coursework in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience, is preferred.

Proficiency in handling ACH payments and check runs.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
