Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented part-time Administrative Assistant to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in supporting our insurance operations and ensuring administrative tasks are completed efficiently. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while contributing to key business processes. This role will be 25 hours a week Monday-Friday ideally 9am-2pm or 10am-3pm.

Responsibilities:

Perform administrative tasks such as faxing, filing, and scanning important documents to maintain organized records.

Provide assistance with various insurance-related services, including property and casualty policies, church property claims, retirement plans, and life insurance.

Utilize Microsoft Excel to update spreadsheets, manage customer accounts, and ensure data accuracy.

Communicate effectively through written and oral channels to support team collaboration and customer inquiries.

Answer inbound calls and address client concerns with professionalism and efficiency.

Handle receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and managing phone systems.

Assist in data entry tasks to maintain accurate and up-to-date information in company systems.

Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and enhance operational performance.

Requirements - Proven experience in administrative assistance within an office setting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software applications.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize workload.

Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records.

Familiarity with receptionist duties and customer service responsibilities.

Previous exposure to insurance policies or related industries is a plus.
