DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position requires a dedication to providing excellent public service along with a deep commitment of unwavering support for the provisions of effective care to our patients. Responsibilities include a strong understanding of regulatory and accreditation standards, along with knowledge of evaluating compliance with those requirements. You will gather and analyze data related to patient abuse, patient rights grievances, hospital practices or procedures, and patient care trends. Additionally, you will support the hospital's performance improvement initiatives through conducting investigations, ongoing involvement in hospital committees, and collaboration with department leaders on data collection and dissemination, as well as responding to data-related inquiries from senior management. You will also assess the @types of information available within the organization and how such information can be developed to support the various needs of hospital leadership in safeguarding patient rights.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. May change based on operational needs.
Overtime and travel: As needed
Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of professional experience as a member of a multiple disciplinary treatment team in a public or private health care facility and a bachelor's degree; or
Two years of clinical experience in an human services agency, including one year of administrative, evaluative, or consultative experience in a health care program; and a bachelor's degree with major course work in social work, nursing, health care administration, behavioral sciences or a related field; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
