Job Title: Administrative Clerk

Location: White Plains, NY

Type: Contract

Compensation: $21 hourly

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am to 5pm

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Clerk to support the Program Operations team on a temporary basis. This role requires strong organizational skills, punctuality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide clerical and scheduling support to Housing Choice Voucher Program Operations.

Process contracts, verifications, reports, and logs as assigned.

Prepare and maintain files, records, and reports (filing, scanning, indexing).

Manage recertification, intake scheduling, and tracking procedures.

Serve as a liaison regarding scheduled/missed appointments.

Provide general program information and assist with customer inquiries.

Support front desk reception as needed and assist with additional departmental tasks.

Qualifications:

1+ year of administrative experience; housing program or similar field a plus.

Strong customer service and communication skills; experience working with diverse clientele.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to stay organized, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information.

Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent 3 years of relevant experience)
