Warehouse Operator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Warehouse Operator to work at a cutting-edge pharmaceutical company located in Clayton, NC. In this role, you will operate various stand-up forklifts, including counterbalance, Easi Reach (tall and short mast), order picker, and walkie rider, to support production and inventory management.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

Monday-Friday (6-month contract)

Pay rate: $19.00 an hour

What's a typical day as a Warehouse Operator? You'll be:

Operate stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials.

Read and verify pallet information to ensure correct delivery to designated locations.

Perform inventory control for newly received components and materials.

Manage material requisitions and replenish staging areas.

Conduct physical and system transfers of semi-finished and finished products.

Conduct cycle counts and annual inventory counts.

Perform daily inspections of forklifts, warehouses, cold rooms, and freezers.

Maintain up-to-date training status and adhere to safety and environmental regulations.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move equipment/supplies weighing up to 33 pounds.

Operate and inspect manufacturing equipment using hands.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position (sitting and standing) for 50% of the time.

Ability to work in environments with noise, cold temperatures, and hazardous materials while following safety protocols.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Training or experience in handling hazardous materials is preferred.

3 years of warehouse experience, preferably in a GMP warehouse or pharmaceutical industry.

Basic math skills and familiarity with the metric system preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word); experience with inventory systems like SAP is a plus.

Excellent organizational skills and adaptability to changes in schedule.
