POSITION SPECIFICS
Penn State Brandywine's Enrollment Management department is seeking anAdmissionsCounselorto join a dynamic group ofadmissionsprofessionals.This position will recruit mainly first year students from Brandywine's service area and assigned out-of-state territories. Successful candidates must be able to conduct presentations to a wide range of audiences, work well in a team environment, and autonomously manage assigned recruitment territory from prospect to committed student. The ideal candidate will be data driven and goal-oriented, have excellent customer-service skills, and have a track record of working effectively with students from all cultural and economic backgrounds.
This position offers a flexible work arrangement that combinesremoteand on-campus work.Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Establishing relationships with high schoolcounselors and Penn State out-of-state recruiters
Dedicated and consistent outreach to prospective students through various channels
Participating in related retention initiatives
Attending high school college fairs and prospective student receptions
Coordinating and performing individual high school presentations to prospective students
Attending and assisting with on-campus recruitment, and yield events
Schedule, plan and execute all virtual programming and events
Present at various recruitment events
Emphasis will be on serving a first year student population.
Familiarity with CRM (Slate), and presentation software is preferred.
This position will require occasional weekend and evening work, including overnight travel approximately 15% of the time.

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCESThis position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.

SALARY & BENEFITSThe salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $51,000.00 - $74,000.00.
