The Claims Processing Help Desk Associate will be instrumental in managing and facilitating the resolution of customer claims. You will play a vital role in supporting our customers with their claims inquiries and issues. Duties and Responsibilities

Provide first-line support to customers, addressing their claims-related inquiries and concerns via phone, email, or chat.
Analyze and process incoming claims documentation, ensuring all necessary information is accurate and complete.
Liaise with other departments to facilitate the thorough investigation of claims and obtain necessary documentation or feedback.
Maintain a detailed log of all customer interactions and the status of their claims, ensuring transparency and up-to-date communication.
Maintain compliance with all internal policies and external regulations regarding claims processing and customer privacy.
Provide ongoing feedback to the claims processing team and management on potential improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Educate clients on the claims process and any required documentation needed to facilitate swift and accurate claims resolution.
Participate in training and development sessions to stay current with the latest in industry practices and technologies.
Collaborate with the claims team to minimize the turnaround time of claim processing, striving towards exceeding the client expectations.
Resolve any discrepancies in claims processing by coordinating with relevant stakeholders and ensuring a solution-focused approach.

Requirements

Proven experience in claims processing, customer service, or a related field, ideally within a housing or insurance sector.
Strong understanding of customer relationship management systems and claim handling software.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and empathetically.
Demonstrated ability to analyze documents for accuracy and completeness.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
Relevant educational background, such as a degree in business administration, finance, or related fields.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to adapt to new technologies and swiftly changing environments.
