Coordinator

Position:

SAS has an opening for a Coordinator who will be responsible to assist the Factory Manager in overseeing all operations in the manufacturing area.

Job Responsibilities:

Present, coordinate and/or execute strategies for the company.

Consistently apply quality control throughout the manufacturing process to ensure that problems are avoided, recognized and/or corrected.

Refine production processes to minimize error, correct production flow issues and increase efficiencies.

Collaborate with the development and technical teams to transition new product to manufacturing in an organized and timely manner.

Job Qualifications:

Experience with all aspects of cutting, including both the cutting of leather and manmade materials.

Bi-lingual, fluent in both English and Spanish.

Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Mature, responsible, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic and is able to work independently.

Must be a team player who can collaborate well with others.

Must have respect for co-workers, their team and the company.

Mathematically strong and highly analytical.

Proficient in Leadtec, the company's shop-floor workflow tracking and real-time payroll system.

Computer literate in Microsoft Office, Word & Excel (Spreadsheets), Outlook, etc.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand and walk for 8 hours or more per day with breaks approximately every two hours.

Excellent vision to inspect the quality of work that is being produced by workers out on the production line.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or

5 years or more of leadership experience in a cutting manufacturing environment.
