Your future starts here. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Are you a proactive problem-solver who thrives in dynamic, field-based environments? We\'re seeking a Construction Manager to oversee and mentor a team dedicated to installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing wayside equipment, all while maintaining the highest safety standards. In this crucial leadership role, you\'ll ensure the seamless and safe movement of trains and equipment throughout our territory, stretching from St. Paul, MN to Chicago, IL. POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES: Lead safety initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement in workplace safety Coordinate construction services delivery, taking proactive corrective action when necessary Implement policies, processes, and procedures to enhance overall productivity and efficiency Identify and recommend innovative work methods, processes, and industry best practices Responsible for the timely completion and comprehensive documentation of construction projects Liaise with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and support new installations Manage project execution while adhering to established budgetary guidelines Coach and mentor team members to maximize efficiency, evaluate performance, and provide professional development opportunities Effectively leverage the collective bargaining agreement to optimize workforce management POSITION REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalent Must have valid drivers\' license Signal system maintenance, testing and construction knowledge and experience Minimum of five (5) years of signal experience, with a background in construction and/or electrical work Well-versed in relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards Knowledge of the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen (BRS) collective bargaining agreement Proficient knowledge of computer applications (word, excel, PP, SAP,) Proven ability to communicate effectively in both...
