As a Business Alignment Representative, you will be a part of a team of enterprise-focused alignment consultants established to coordinate enterprise-level activities across Department of Human Services (DHS) administrations. You will work with partners at the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF), MNIT Services and associated external partners. The position will use enterprise level principles and processes to align change initiatives to the enterprise strategy and funding requests, recommend organizational change, and support business initiatives and transformation. This position also leads the evaluation of business change initiatives and participates on governance teams to identify initiatives that can benefit from enterprise-level coordination.
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
Evaluate business cases submitted by program areas, counties, and/or Tribal nations.
Analyze proposed changes to ensure that the business value is clearly defined.
Coordinate key business players to ensure shared understanding of proposed changes.
Report status of business cases and/or project deliverables to business leadership as needed or requested.
Participate in governance groups within the human services structure to support work necessary to implement the strategic direction set forth by leadership.
Minimum Qualifications

Three (3) years professional experience in policy development, service delivery, system change management, program development and/or legislative changes relating to human services programs.
Experience must clearly demonstrate:
Strong understanding of the human service delivery landscape.
Demonstrated facilitation skills for large and small groups.
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Strong human relations and communication skills; communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.
A Bachelor's degree in public administration, public policy, organizational management, or a related degree may substitute for one (1) year of experience OR A Master's degree in public administration, public policy, organizational management, or a related degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience administering human service programs for a county agency or Tribal Nation.
Knowledge of business analysis, business architecture, or project management principles.
Knowledgeofrolesandrelationshipsofcounty,tribal,stateandfederalgovernments.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives across a variety of program areas.
Highly developed problem-solving skills, creativity, initiative, adaptability, integrity, and trust.
Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
