The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a junior level Aerospace Engineer to support the Army Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Engineering and Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate

Responsibilities:

Review and validate technical procurement requirements, research aircraft/electronic components, evaluate vendor solutions, and provide technical recommendations to ensure best value.

Help develop/refine technical requirements, specifications, and schematics for aircraft and electronic systems using provided tools and techniques.

Perform research to enhance engineering toolsets and contribute to process improvements that streamline procurement and validation workflows.

Build knowledge in aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and propulsion while working alongside senior engineers to gain reverse engineering expertise, progressing into more complex engineering tasks.

Assist in developing accurate schematics of electronic and aircraft systems using provided tools.

Contribute to process improvement efforts that streamline procurement and validation workflows.

Gain a strong working knowledge of aerodynamics, flight mechanics, propulsion systems, and electronics.

Work side-by-side with senior engineers to learn reverse engineering and exploitation methodologies.

Assist in reconstructing aircraft aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, stability, and control systems to evaluate performance and identify vulnerabilities

Progressively assume more complex technical engineering responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Required:

Active Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain an TS/SCI.

Bachelor's degree in Electronics/electrical, Information Technology, or related field.

Four years of progressively more complex experience in the design, development, integration and analysis of hardware projects.

Ability to learn quickly and seamlessly adapt to changing demands. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written, for effective interaction with staff, customers, and external contacts.

Able to work independently and to be proactive in identifying and responding to issues and problems.

Must be able to demonstrate experience and capability in one or more of the following areas:

analysis and modeling of hypersonic systems including flight dynamics, vehicle performance characterization, propulsion system design, supersonic/hypersonic aerodynamics prediction, guidance, navigation, control, and flight test data analysis.

-Must be able to communicate well through written documentation and oral presentation.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$76,000 - 155,700 USD
