As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence throughout your assigned area. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, assisting visitors and employees with access procedures, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication and a professional demeanor. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and procedures.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.
Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific emergency protocols.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
