Job Title: Drug Manufacturing Technician

Job Description

This non-exempt position involves crucial responsibilities in the maintenance and operation of drug manufacturing equipment. You will be responsible for accurately weighing raw materials and active ingredients and combining them into a precise blend. It is essential to maintain equipment and facilities in a clean and well-repaired state. The role requires participation in completing work orders, including batch record documentation according to current good manufacturing practices (cGMP). You must accurately follow and complete documentation with minimal errors or corrections and complete training, including cGMP and safety training, in a timely manner. The ability to work independently or as part of a team and follow procedures precisely is essential.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain drug manufacturing equipment properly.

Accurately weigh and blend raw materials and active ingredients.

Ensure equipment and facilities are clean and well-maintained.

Complete work orders and batch record documentation as per cGMP.

Follow and complete documentation accurately with minimal errors.

Participate in cGMP and safety training programs.

Work independently or collaboratively as needed, following procedures exactly.

Essential Skills

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Familiarity with chemical processes, batch mixing, and compounding.

Experience in following cGMP guidelines.

Ability to document processes accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience as a Chemical Operator or Batch Mixer is advantageous.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.40 - $22.40/hr.
