Trane Technologies in La Crosse, WI is hiring an Accountant II for its North America Record to Report ("RTR") Accounting team. This role will be based in either Davidson, NC or La Crosse, WI and is designated as hybrid. The Accountant II is part of the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) organization and reports directly to a RTR Accounting Manager. This position will provide financial information by researching and analyzing accounts. This position will assist in month end close duties such as preparing journal entries, providing data for business units, and reconciling balance sheet accounts. Ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and Trane Technologies financial policies and practices.

Where is the work:

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.?

What you will do: ???

Responsible for accurately recording, reconciling, and processing rebate payments to ensure compliance with Trane Technologies' financial policies and partner agreements.

· Support NA Revenue to Margin Team processes including, but not limited to, inventory and cost accounting and revenue recognition

· Reviews transaction errors to ensure proper impact on perpetual and G/L records

· Reviews variances to determine cause

· Support business partners for NA Revenue to Margin Equipment Team processes

· Assist with adhoc requests

What you will bring: ?

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

2 - 4 years' experience in general accounting and cost accounting in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge of GAAP (Generally accepted accounting principles) Knowledge of Trane Technologies reporting structure and systems preferred (Oracle, OneStream, PeopleSoft Financials) Strong PC skills required: Microsoft Office Suite (with Excel emphasis)

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $72,700-90,000
