Salary Range: $40.00/hour to $56.00/hour

THE BIM TEAM
Our Building Information Modeling (BIM) team maximizes pre-construction efforts by visually defining a project prior to construction so that conflicts are identified early, and adjustments are made with minimal impact. From field sketches to BIM, installation drawings and as-builts, we get the job done right and provide the highest-level of BIM documentation each project needs.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Develops comprehensive 3D models from redlines and construction documents
Creates and maintains 2D installation drawings from 3D models
Performs model population including conduits, trays, equipment, fixtures, and supports
Manages documentation through printing, review, and publishing processes
Maintains project setup and folder structures per CEI standards
Executes quality control on models and drawings
Uses BIM 360 interface for file management and issue tracking
Performs clash detection and coordination reviews
Communicates within the team regarding deliverables and technical needs
Knowledge: A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position.
Job Complexity: Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
Supervision: Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
ABOUT YOU
Applying advanced Revit techniques for 2D documentation and 3D modeling
Executing Navisworks Manage workflows for clash detection and coordination
Implementing electrical construction practices and code requirements
Interpreting electrical, mechanical, and architectural construction drawings
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; College education in related field preferred
Licensure/Certifications: None required
Experience: 3+ years in electrical construction industry with progressive BIM experience
Work Location: Remote - work from home reporting to team members as needed
