Summary You will serve as a LEAD LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Technical & Item Management Branch, Strategic Weapons System (SWS) Division, Submarines & Maritime Industrial Operations Department at NAVSUP WEAPONS SYSTEM SUPPORT. You will be part of the SWS Division who is charged with supporting the Naval Nuclear Deterrence Mission and the Trident Weapons System on behalf of Strategic Systems Programs of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will coordinate and integrate actions related to the logistics support of the Strategic Weapon System (SWS) subsystems and provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) expertise. You will perform as Team Leader and ensure that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, and objectives. You will coach the team in the selection and application of appropriate problem-solving methods and techniques, provide advice on work methods, practices and procedures. You will ensure that the goals and support policies of Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) are adhered to across the various subsystems supported by the branch. You will coach the team in the selection and application of remedial action required to alleviate program inadequacies or deficiencies to achieve the goals established. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Leading a team in distributing workload in accordance with established workflow and arranging training of team members; 2) Representing a team by conveying findings and recommendations of SWS subsystem projects and studies; 3) Applying ILS disciplines to support assigned SWS subsystems including software compatibility and integration; 4) Researching, learning and applying a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze and improve team effectiveness, efficiency and work products; 5) Maintaining contact with representatives from internal and external organizations to remain current on initiatives and procedures.
