Description

We are looking for an Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Monmouth County, New Jersey. In this role, you will contribute to essential accounting functions and support financial operations with precision and efficiency. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Analyze and reconcile bank statements with general ledger accounts to maintain financial integrity.

Record journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue, ensuring proper documentation.

Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes, including billing and payment tracking.

Maintain and update fixed asset records to reflect current holdings and depreciation.

Prepare and file local compliance reports as required by regulations.

Act as a liaison with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure smooth communication.

Support onboarding processes for new employees, including financial documentation setup.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred.

At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience is strongly desired.

Practical knowledge of general ledger operations and reconciliations.

Familiarity with accounting software systems, such as QuickBooks, is required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for financial reporting and analysis.

Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively.

Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
