Primary Responsibilities. The successful candidate will serve as an Electrical Engineer that will handle aspects of Radio Frequency (RF) Engineering production of Hypersonic Glide Bodies (HGB). The selected candidate will be expected to provide leadership and technical direction related to RF components associated with the Hypersonic Missile production program. With a product focus, the individual is also expected to actively partner with other Engineers, Project Managers, Technicians, Customers, and Sub-Contractors to develop solutions that adhere to a diverse set of requirements. The selected candidate will support resolution of technical issues that are discovered during the manufacturing and test of deliverable hardware. Duties will include supporting design activities, including design for manufacturability, with our Design Agent, developing Test Requirements Documentation, developing Test Plans, supporting the development of Production Test Procedures, supporting testing and troubleshooting events that occur. In addition, the candidate will support development of future RF designs by assisting in developing Test Requirements, developing hardware and software requirements to perform testing, develop test methods and procedures to meets test requirements, and develop Technical Data Package for delivery to customers. In addition, the candidate will need to write/issue Non-Conformance Reports and address quality issues during the Environments Testing process. Work will be conducted in an integration/production facility along with a laboratory environment. Travel to Sandia National Labs and other production and test facilities as necessary.
Basic Qualifications. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school with at least 8+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school with at least 6+ years of relevant experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications. The following skills/abilities are desired:
Demonstrate an understanding of design and testing of RF components including Antennas (CRPA and Directional), LNAs, RF Switches, Splitter/Combiners, Duplexers, Couplers and Cables
Demonstrate an understanding of RF Test Data
Must have hands-on laboratory experience with instrumentation, test equipment, and test methods including the use of Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzer, Power Meter, etc.
Knowledge of Matlab
Knowledge of Test Procedure development
Knowledge of post data processing
Organizational skills to document designs, assist with Technical Data Packages (TDP) and support production and test of RF Components and Receivers
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Other Qualifications :
The ideal candidate would have experience in the following:
GPS Test Experience including M Code and Anti-Jamming techniques
Design, test, troubleshooting, and manufacture of analog/mixed signal electronic circuit card and/or integrated RF assemblies
Experience with manufacturing and production of RF components
Experience or knowledge of RCC 324 Range Reequipments for Global Positioning and Inertial Measurements Range Safety Tracking Systems Commonality Standard
Have a current DoD Secret clearance.
Security Requirements:
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
