THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an Administrative Assistant 2, you will be responsible for completing a wide variety of administrative and clerical duties, ensuring operations are in compliance with established policies and procedures. Work involves managing workloads, providing scheduling support, resolving personnel-related inquiries, as well as coordinating annual contracts and the Provider Program Funded Personnel (MCR) crosswalk. You will have the opportunity to play a key role as a liaison between the administrators office, county commissioners and their delegates, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania department of Human Services regional officers, provider agencies network, and other stakeholders by facilitating and coordinating all aspects of inter office communication. Additional responsibilities include:
Serving as back-up contact with County Maintenance in the absence of the Administrator
Distributing and processing mail
Performing primary receptionist duties
Inputting daily and monthly behavioral health data
Assisting with recruitment and retention functions
Updating electronic records for contracted agencies and stakeholders
Demonstrating proficient use in Microsoft Applications

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of experience as a staff assistant to an administrative officer or as a technician in a staff service of a large organization; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university;or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
