The Data, Analytics, and AI (DAAI) organization within Digital Technology leads the enterprise strategy and execution of data, advanced analytics, and applied artificial intelligence (AI) across Raytheon. We transform data into trusted intelligence by building predictive models and scalable AI solutions-delivering innovation, measurable impact, and value across the business.
We are seeking an experienced Director of Portfolio & Product Management to join the DAAI Leadership Team. In this role, you will lead the planning, governance, and execution of Raytheon's Data and AI product portfolio-ensuring strategic alignment, measurable ROI, and business-wide adoption. You will collaborate across functions, Strategic Business Units (SBUs), and Enterprise Services to identify value-driven use cases, develop business cases, and deliver high-impact scalable solutions. This role blends strategic product leadership with disciplined portfolio management to accelerate value creation with data and AI at Raytheon
What You Will Do
Strategy & Governance: Define and manage the enterprise roadmap for Data and AI products; lead portfolio governance to ensure scalability, adoption, ROI, and alignment with business priorities.
Business Alignment & Value: Serve as the strategic interface between product, technical, and business teams; build investment cases, assess impact, and establish success metrics for initiatives.
Product Lifecycle Leadership: Guide projects from ideation through delivery, including partnerships and stakeholder engagement.
Cross-Business Collaboration: Lead product councils and coordinate efforts across multiple SBUs & functions to prioritize and deliver value.
Operations & Performance: Lead DAAI business operations including financial oversight (AOP, capital planning, contractor management), business reviews, and KPI tracking for product and portfolio health.
Travel: Anticipated 20-40% travel to collaborate with team members and business stakeholders.
Qualifications You Must Have
Role typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years' experience. (In lieu of degree, a minimum of 18 years' relevant experience will be considered).
Experience leading product management or portfolio leadership in data, analytics, or AI-driven solutions at enterprise scale.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Master of Business Administration (MBA) or an advanced technical degree in Data Science, Information Management, or related STEM field.
Proven ability to translate business strategy into actionable product roadmaps, portfolio governance, and measurable outcomes, including investment planning and financial oversight.
Strong leadership and communication skills with experience engaging senior stakeholders and driving cross-functional alignment.
Experience working in regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, or government
Familiarity with modern data and AI ecosystems (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, MLOps frameworks, AWS GovCloud, AzureGov).
Proven expertise with product management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, SAFe, Jira).
Demonstrated success driving enterprise-wide adoption of advanced data and AI capabilities while balancing strategic vision with operational execution.

The salary range for this role is 176,000 USD - 352,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
